The Dance program offers a Bachelor of Science degree requiring 120 credits for graduation. The relatively small class sizes allow dance faculty to work closely with each student. Faculty assist students achieve academic success, identify career opportunities and consider future studies in dance education, performance, and choreography. Students are encouraged to study a broad range of dance such as African Dance, Afro-Caribbean dance, sacred modern dance, ballet, jazz and musical theater, hip hop, and cultural rhythms. The movement classes are paired with body awareness modalities such as Yoga and Pilates.
